Hi, I’m Jennie.
My journey into Solution Focused Hypnotherapy began through my own experience of navigating challenges with my mental health. After experiencing traditional therapy, which absolutely has its place, I discovered a future-focused, neuroscience-based approach that felt empowering, practical and transformative.
Experiencing that change first hand inspired me to train professionally so I could help others access the same sense of clarity, calm and confidence.
I am passionate about the science behind how the brain works. Understanding neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to change and rewire. It is at the heart of my work. When we understand anxiety and how the nervous system responds to stress, everything begins to make more sense. And when we focus on solutions rather than problems, meaningful change becomes possible.
I believe that no matter what someone is facing, the brain is capable of change. With the right support and future focus, people can build resilience, regain control and create a more fulfilling life for themselves and those around them.
My aim is always to provide a calm, welcoming and supportive space where you or your child feels heard, understood and hopeful about what’s ahead.
For your reassurance I hold an Enhanced DBS check and am fully insured. I am also a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and the National Council of Hypnotherapy.
My Approach
My approach is grounded in neuroscience and focused on solutions rather than problems.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy combines elements of Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and clinical hypnosis. This makes our work practical, forward-focused and supported by psychological research.
Rather than analysing the past in depth, we focus on what is working, what you would like to be different, and how your brain can begin building healthier patterns through neuroplasticity.
My aim is to provide a calm, supportive space where change feels achievable and you leave each session feeling clearer, lighter and more hopeful.
